Improved usability in 5.3 release and customer driven functions from the Artwork Management experts
Tamworth, UK, May 27, 2015 – Industry’s leading provider of artwork management solutions, Kallik, today announced a major software release featuring updated user interface and new functions designed to deliver greater efficiency and usability.
The latest release focuses on the continuing improvements of the overall user experience (UX) and user interface (UI), with additional features as requested by their valued clients.
“As part of the ongoing development here to improve the UI, UX and supporting technology of the Kallik solution, we are happy to announce the arrival of AMS 5.3 which focuses on improvement within the content and asset manager functions.” explains Kallik UI & UX Designer Luke Poulton.
Building on the already powerful search capabilities comes an ‘infinite scroll down’ within the search results. This will now display artwork related assets on the page, increasing visibility and reducing iterations of each page.
The latest upload functions include ‘drag and drop’ where users can upload files from their desktop and in addition to that ‘multiple files’ allows users to upload in a single instance, reducing the upload time dramatically.
Improved functionality also sees the results folders and lightboxes combined to reduce complexity of collating, sharing and reusing assets, making for a faster and simpler process.
In addition to the key takeaways, improved responsiveness of the search engine and a continuing upgrade of the user interface, improves the overall user experience greatly. Simple, intuitive and fresh, were the key drivers in the 5.3 release of the Kallik solution.
Kallik clients play a central role in shaping the new look, feel and usability of the solution. Web-conferences and demo sessions are being set up for all clients to view the forthcoming functionality within this release. “These show and tell sessions are key to expanding on how the new functionality can be applied to better meet our clients business needs.’ Poulton added.
Client’s requirements will always be at the forefront of future releases. From road map discussions to suggestions logged on our quality system, all help drive this continuous improvement for a smarter, simpler, more compliant future with Kallik.
